Its second time round, and making a huge impression. Sueños de Libertad, Ibiza’s pop music festival is back and with the aim of making space for music styles, which the island might not otherwise be used to.
M-Clan, Zahara, Quique González, Fuel Fandango, Arizona Baby, León Benavente, Ángel Stanich or Carmen Boza: these are just some of the acts forming the line-up of the Sueños de Libertad festival, taking place the 22nd and the 23rd of April in Ibiza.
Day1 -22nd of April: Regio Theatre
At 8 o clock on Friday the 22 of April, Sueños de Libertad will open its doors in one of the most emblematic room of the Island: the Regio theatre of San Antonio. The first day will be completely dedicated to the music, with 3 acoustic concerts: M-Clan (undoubtedly one of the biggest acts of the festival) Zahara and Carmen Boza.
Day 2 –23rd of april Ibizan Fair Grounds
Saturday the 23rd of April the festivities begin from 2 o’ clock in the Ibizan fair grounds, where the festival will have 7 well-defined differentiated areas: Music, art, gastronomy, urban and mercantile artisans, street artists and a kids area. Quique Gonzalez & Los Detectives, Fuel Fandango, Arizona Baby, León Benavente, Ángel Stanich & The Lemons, The Frígolos, Stone Corners and Ryser & The Lemons will be those left in charge of keeping us dancing for the 8 hours of the festival.
Much More Than Music
The Music is the great protagonist of the Sueños de Libertad festival, but there will be no shortage of the finest gastronomic offerings of the Island on the day, from the hands of some of the most famous bars of the island such as Can Tixedo, Ritas Cantina, Blue Lotus, La Cava or Can Xicu among others. There’ll be no shortage of art either, with a good selection of exhibits and artisan markets. The organisers have tried to make the second day of the event “an authentic cultural city”. “Our idea is that you travel to strange lands withour setting a foot off of our beloved island”.
