The municipality of Sant Antoni celebrates the 11th edition of its gastro-competition, the Pintxa Sant Antoni, between the 14 of May and the 18 of April. This amounts to an unmissable tapas route through some of its most emblematic establishments.
29 bars and restaurants of Sant Antoni have decided to participate in this initiative which will see a wide array of pintxos and tapas at very affordable prices:
Pintxo + Drink = 2,50 euros
Just Pintxo = 2,00 euros
Tapa + Drink = 4,50 euros
Just Tapa = 4,00 euros
In this current edition, the competition’s organisers have had the exclusive elaboration of a “Coca de pollo y gambas”, referencing the local products and being the image of this 11th edition of Pintxa San Antoni, its creator José Miguel Bonet, chef of the restaurant Es Ventall.
This year the contest has designed a brochure in which you can distinguish several types of pintxos (pintxo, tapa, vegetarian and sweet) and time zone (midday or night) with the intention of satisfying all tastes. In addition, those who want to avoid driving to move from one establishment to another, the organization will have a free “mini train” service that will link some of the main areas of the ‘Pintxa Sant Antoni’.
MINI TRAIN SCHEDULE
From 8pm until midnight
To see the route of the mini train or for more information, you can download the Folleto-Pintxa-Sant-Antoni-2019 here. On the other hand, if you are a teacher of orientation and Google Maps, the Pintxa team has designed an online map of the contest with all the places of interest, you can see it in the following link.
