The municipality of Sant Antoni celebrates the 9th edition of its gastro-competition, the Pintxa Sant Antoni, between the 9th of March and the 13TH of April. This amounts to an unmissable tapas route through some of its most emblematic establishments.
In or around 50 bars and restaurants have decided to participate in this initiative which will see a wide array of pinxtos and tapas at very affordable prices (€2 pinxto + drink, €4 tapa + drink). In this current edition, the competition’s organisers have created 4 routes (vegetarian, fishy, savoury and sweet) with the intention of ‘catering’ to all tastes. For all of those that don’t feel like driving from bar to bar, the organisers have ever-so-kindly provided a free free ‘mini train’ service linking the main areas of the Pinxta.
Vote for your favourite
Just like in other years it will be the public who’ll be left in charge of selecting this year’s 10 finalists. Feedback is provided through the competitions webpage and the social media. The finalists will each be required to create an utterly original pinxto. Last year winners were “Bar Es Puig”, awarded with EUR 500 and a diploma.
